Things to Do With Kids in Tualatin
While most people are familiar with the Willamette Valley wineries, Tualatin is more than wine. From shopping, outdoor activities, museums, to farm to table restaurants, there’s something for everyone in Tualatin.
Tualatin is a fun destination that’s a short drive from Portland. Check out these five family-friendly activities in Tualatin, Oregon.
1. iFLY Indoor Skydiving
Jumping out of an airplane is not required! Kids of all ages (minimum age of 3 to participate) will enjoy indoor skydiving at iFLY.
Guaranteed to put a smile on your kids’ faces, this safe, family-friendly activity will be the highlight of their day. And if you can’t get your teen or tween to talk to you, take them indoor skydiving. They won’t stop talking!

2. World of Speed Museum
Your inner speed racer will rejoice at the World of Speed Museum.
Think muscle race cars, speedboats, fast motorcycles, and more! This is one museum your kids will be glad you dragged them to.
Is touching allowed? You bet! The World of Speed Museum offers several interactive exhibits that are completely hands on! And yep, you can sit in some of the cars.
They offer summer camps, high school auto tech, and Les Schwab workshops.
Pro-tip: Active duty military and family members get free admission Memorial Day through Labor Day.
3. Unger Farms
Love strawberries? Your little ones will enjoy picking their own strawberries at Unger Farms.
And if you’re lucky, you’ll come home with a few. 🙂
Be sure to stop by Berry Cafe for some tasty treats like a Berry Shortcake and Chocolate Crepe.
Pro-tip: Hood strawberry season is in June.
4. Rice NW Museum of Rocks and Minerals
Head full of rocks? After your visit to the Rice NW Museum of Rocks and Minerals, it just might be.
The former home of collectors Richard and Helen Rice house one of the largest private collections of minerals in the United States.
Exhibits include the Alma Rose rhodochrosite, diamonds, and the fossilized remains of “Tucker” a baby Psittacosaurus dinosaur.
Pro-tip: Be sure to check out the fluorescent display.
5. Tree to Tree Adventure Park
Do you love Tarzan’s Treehouse at Disneyland? Or the Swiss Family Treehouse at Disneyworld? Then you’ll love Tree to Tree Adventure Park.
You can zip line, rappel, and bungee jump to your heart’s content. Enjoy views of Hagg Lake while zipping through the trees. Or give your best Tarzan impression at the aerial obstacle course.
Not a fan of heights? You can have a picnic or roam one of the walking trails.
Pro-tip: Forgot your GoPro? They offer rentals.
